duke_Qa : (14 May 2013 - 07:24 PM) Yeah I was looking through the archives of the Shoutbox, but the archive system is terrible so i found nothing. I suspect he uses twitch.tv though, which isn't really that apropriate for streaming of political/bureaucratical events :p

Radspakr : (17 May 2013 - 03:53 PM) Not entirely bad if it's reasonable since they did create the game and generally the LPs just play and record, youtube gets like 45% of all CPM money, it the game dev was under 10%

If the creators of those letsplays get 0% even though they added commentary and direction to the clip, there's no point for them to make them. it's not 100% Nintendo/EA "art", its a collaboration, a hybrid that helps both parties. Doing this is like demanding 100% of the income a journalist makes on writing an article about Nintendo.
