Good evening all,

I have made some drastic changes in the layout of our hosted mods.

As you can see, the T3A forum is no longer the scrollfest it was, and all hosted mods are now neatly categorized in appropriate subforums under the new 'Hosted Mods' category:

Released BFME Mods

In Development BFME Mods

Archived BFME Mods

The advantage here is that users can easily distinguish between released mods, in-development mods, and dead mods without having to scroll so far down. Even though our mods are now behind an extra layer of subforum, the whole thing looks more self-explanatory, visible, and user friendly. Someone visiting us in search of released BFME mods won't have to look far. You'll also note the Hosted Mods category now sits above the Modding category for additional exposure.

I intend to further update individual mod subforums with new icons representing available releases and perhaps something that represents a mod being top-rated (which is really why RJ-RotWK is not in the Archived subforum).

I hope you all get used to it quickly. :p

NOTE: If you feel I have made a mistake in categorizing a certain mod, let me know.

Well, I think AotF counts as released, as there was a beta 1 all those years ago ;)

Kind liked the old lay-out better.

Kind liked the old lay-out better.

It's what you're used to (been that way for 10 years now). The changes I made are towards a goal to make the hosted mods sections more accessible and organized so people that haven't been here for so long will find it easier to navigate through the ton of mods we have. This way, everything is more visible (because it takes less scrolling), including the archived mods, which were previously tucked away in such a manner that gems such as Grim's Mod were totally buried. There's also no more need to dig through a mod's forum to see if there's been a release.

I've got some additional plans such as including clear links to locations where released versions can be downloaded in each mod's description.

However, if you've got ideas to improve this revision (that fit within the current plan), let me know.

Well, I think AotF counts as released, as there was a beta 1 all those years ago  ;)

Do you want me to bring it to the Released subforum?

Also, please note that the hostee order and general layout are no longer subject to Team Chamber debates; I'm now basing them on other factors besides the old update frequency, such as community appreciation (which is why RJ-RotWK is once again prominent), ratings, and general quality. Any disagreements on this can be sent to me and I will reevaluate.

I like it. Very straightforward and easily accessible.

Hey, I asked for this a long time ago.  Love it!
