Back on topic (don't make me get out my purple scorpion :))

Yes, adding the glow to Gandalf is one thing I've wanted to add, thought it might not make it to 1.06.

indeed the blue sword thingy could be added to the swords of gandalf and Frodo :) would be nice to see gandalf engulved by orcs and slashing on them with a gleaming blue sword.

Now, that would be awesome...especially if there was a small area of light around the Wand Elf (Gandalf. do a deeper study of tolkein's works for an explanation.) and the Ringbearer.

The Nazgul units don't appear to be able to purchase Fellbeasts. Has this been fixed yet?
Also, some of their their names are a bit... ech. I can't imagine a deadly shadow-wraith called Ren, and you should drop the second names, and Ji Indúr Dawndeath should just be called Indúr. And Khamul should have a mask. Just saying. Hey, put that gun away, it was constructive criticism. Constructive.

(oh, and Dread Visage should be renamed to Black Breath, as according to the b-*gets shot*)

Actually, Rob 'should' nothing.

To my knowledge, yes it's fixed. And if you don't like the names ignore them; I doubt that they're going to be changed, as others have been pretty vehement in keeping them as-is.

It was never unfixed. If you read the first post, the nazgul have to die first, and you also have to purchase the fortress upgrades for mounts to be acessable.

It was random. I had it happen like twice. Just a little tiny bug that seemed like it had no real pattern or cause.

It doesn't work with the Haradrim Nazgul, and Khamul can only ride a Fellbeast or go on foot. This most certainly doesn't fit, because Khamul is more or less the Black Rider, the one who rides round hunting Frodo in Hobbiton, the one asking questions about him. He should certainly be able to go on horseback.
Maybe Men of the East should be able to recruit up to two Fellbeasts on their own? Rhun and Harad are the places from which such monsters come from. That way, it would be more worth while to purchase a Fellbeast upgrade from the fortress.
Some of the Nazgul portraits are a bit silly, too. They don't look... spirity... enough. Maybe they could be improved to look slightly blurred, or more shadowy?

(Ren the Unclean sounds more like a name for a wandering hobo than a dark, malevolent force that is the enslaved spirit of an ancient king, his soul trapped forever by the power of the Ring. Sorry guys, I had to make my point here. It just has no Tolkein-ish-ness at all.)

I get you on the "Unclean" and "Dawndeath" sound like usernames for WOW or somit but I don't have too much of a problem with, giving them names at all is a no no (adds humanity and character to them, which they didn't have) in my opinion, although 9guys without names gets confusing. :p

That would be....interesting. Makes me think of pilots for some reason.

Anyways, giving them names, in my opinion, seems to be a reminder of their past, what they lost with the desire for the ring's power. Names don't always give character or humanity to an object or, well, at least in the case, a phantom.

Just one name each, though. "Ren The Unclean" just sounds downright retarded. And "Ji Indúr Dawndeath" does sound very World of Warcraft, which can be considered a very lesser game. And as for "Hoármurath"... well, we won't go into that. :xd:

So just drop the titles and second names, and maybe some of the descriptions. They're Nazgul. Nazgul are Nazgul.

Here's a more moderate version of the Nine:

Name: The Witch-King of Angmar
Recruit Description: Recruit the leader of the Ring-Wraiths and once Lord of Angmar.

Name: Khamul
Recruit Description: Recruit the infamous Black Easterling and second in command to the Witch-King.

Name: Morgomir
Recruit Description: Recruit the Black Numenorean and Captain of Angmar who fell under the shadow of the Ring.

Name: Kazrael (instead of Ren the Unclean)
Recruit Description: Recruit the former lord of men who fell to the will of the Ring.

Name: Indúrath (instead of Ji Indúr Dawndeath)
Recruit Description: Recruit the once great captain who was bound by the sorcery of the Ring.

Name: Voniel (instead of Hoármurath of Dir)
Recruit Description: Recruit the sorcerer-lord who fell under the influence of the Ring.

Name: Rasrath (instead of the horseman guy)
Recruit Description: Recruit the once valiant Horse-Lord who was twisted by the magic of the Ring.

Name: Melkomir (instead of Akhorakil)
Recruit Description: Recruit the once noble king of the north who was corrupted by the power of the Ring.

Name: Selkoth (instead of the last guy, can't remember his name)
Recruit Description: Recruit the once heroic champion of the south who fell under the influence of the Ring.

Well, there you have it all laid out on a plate. These names (except for the obvious ones) are all original, and sound a damn sight better than the last, I think. What do you think? You won't even need to adapt their powers too much, although the Witch King should get the same Horse-Fellbeast system as the others, with his mask added to the model to distinguish him from the other Black Riders.

Those names are good, I can't speak for everyone, but I'd say that I've become pretty used to the names we gave the nazgul originally, and so changing them would seem a little weird. The names originally came from the early Middle-Earth role playing games, and although the names are not strictly canonical to tolkien's, at least they were not made up especially for the mod. I'm not sure whether that fact really holds any weight, and I do think that your names are more like ones Tolkien would have chosen if he did pick names... Guess we'll have to let Rob decide, though I sense he'll probably be content with how it is now.
