This compay which holds this server will be dissolved on September 6th. This means the server Revora (and The Hive) is on will evaporate.

We are looking for a new server. In the event we can not find a new server in time, it is expected that everything will be lost, so back-up your sites.

I will try my hardest to make sure The Hive is re-built as soon as i can. If you want to help, contact me:
You can find me on MSNM with david@dayonic.net . You can e-mail me at detail@safe-mail.net (as my other e-mail addresses are all part of this server) and can find me at SSForum.

At this time, any money people can give would be very appreciated, you can Paypal donations to me with david@dayonic.net .

Edit: Hybrid says (below) that we will be given a new server. The future is not as unsure was it was. You will still need to save all your files ready for when we move to this new server. There will also be some downtime while we move servers.

Back-up your site!

Good news guys. I've discussed with the new host. Hes keeping us. We get a new server with an 80GB IDE Hard Drive at his company Creative Eye http://creative-eye.net

Same price as we have at dans

Bad news: its as burst, but he assures me that they have never had problems that dan have had. So i think we should give them a try.

If we are not satisfied after a month we can always move.

Everyone, back everything up because we will be moving from this server.

[EDIT] Renegade said hes leaving anyway so we need to find another partner on his behalf.

"Offer" about backing people's stuff up still stands.

Well at least that's a load off everyone's mind. But with back up your stuff do you mean RIGHT NOW or do we have a deadline?

Backup from 316.07 Megabytes has started for TFH :) .

How long and when will be the downtime, maybe it's good to make a news post on every site saying we will be down for (a) day(s).

NO deadline yet. Just do it ASAP though. Could be anytime this week. I hope to have the new server by sunday. Then we transfer and this one disappears into the mist.

There is still the problem of only 2 partners. Me and Hybrid can't pay for all this alone. We need a 3rd person to lighten the load.

This is the hardest problem to solve.

We need someone who can pay £20/$35 a month. You get 330gig of bandwidth and and 25gig file space.
The usuall ammout of bandwidth you get (for an average Joe seller) is 5gig for £20. As you can see, you get alot more for your money here.

D, me and arg are dealing with it :)

I've got 2 people intereted (possibly a 3rd once the main guy gets back to me, and also args trying another network too, in the end we could have 4 partners make the load less) I mean we don't need 500GB bandwidth and 40GB diskspace is fine.

I'm back and with a very nice connection, so I'll certainly offer to back everything up. Last I checked I had a 7Mbyte download, so I'm okay for speed. I'm only concerned about space, but I can always burn a DVD. D, I'll need passwords though, I need to get SecureFX set up again.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |
