This is my plan of what I'm doing and going to do.

Research Begins
Description: Write some code for RGD loading, port SGA loading code to C++, research into ideas and community needs
Date: December 28th '05
Status: Complete

Development Begins
Description: Work begins on actual code and GUI to be used
Date: January 5th '06
Status: Complete

Private Beta 1
Description: Program can load up and load a mod for all/most beta testers
Date: January 15th '06
Status: Complete

Private Beta 2
Description: UCS files can be loaded, edited and saved, module files can be edited and saved
Date: January 29th '06
Status: Complete

Private Beta 3
Description: LUA and RGD files can be loaded, edited, saved, and converted between. Also included will be an early version on the SCAR editor.
Date: April 15th (Target)
Status: In Development

Private Beta 4
Description: Some tools added, and scripting/macro facilities completed.
Date: n/a
Status: Pending

Private Beta 5
Description: All remaining tools added, documentation written, source code cleaned up
Date: n/a
Status: Pending

Public RC 1
Description: Anything that needed fixing in beta 5 fixed and final polish added.
Date: n/a
Status: Pending

Public Release of 1.0
Description: Anything that needed fixing in RC 1 fixed.
Date: n/a
Status: Pending

Sounds good. One note, the term "Alpha" is usually used for a non-feature complete product, whereas "Beta" is usually the feature complete revision that's delivered to QA for testing.

Which means Corsix got it right and will be releasing beta's to us, the beta testing team, and a release candidate to the public, which is fine since it'd be really near release, and he gets all the alphas wink.gif

Betas are feature-complete - as in, new features are complete. I don't think the wording here is wrong wink.gif
