Amazing! I really like those pics, especially the Variag from the palantir images. It's really great to have such a talented art person in the team. Looking forward to see more of your work :p

That is absolutely wonderful art! I have no idea how that kind of images can be done :) Especially the pic for Dunedain Swordsmen looks extremely good, keep up the good work :)

Because you scare easily? :)

I'm not keen on them either. I'm not scared by them :), but they just don't look noble.

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

Are they supposed to be so black, other than that I like them! :)

You should post a tutorial on how to do these. I worked out a system of doing it ages ago but forgot it.

Third day update:
- Damrod
- Isildur (MotW Ring hero)
- Rohan Peasant
- Uruk Bombers
- Denethor

All added to the top.
And by the way I guess a GIMP tutorial wouldn't be much use for you photoshoppers, would it?

Well many of the effects can be carried over, I definitely recognise some of the effects used, so go ahead and post up how you made them.

Isildur and Damrod look really good and professional, but I think you need to blur or lighten up the nose guard of the peasant and Denethor definitely isnt at the quality of the other ones.

Yeah guess why I put Denethor last of these new ones :)
And you're indeed right about the noseguard. I'll fix that and upload the new picture to the same direction.

really great tutorial! ;)

some GIMP-"only" things though...

Filters>Edge-Detect>Edge
I set it to "Smear", "Algorithm: Sobel" and "Amount: 2,0". After having pressed OK, I went

I used Accend stokes... something... here :) and also did some other changes, cause my pic didn't look to good :)

otherwise, great tutorial! ;) And totally love your art!

Edit: oh, just saw your updated pics... Damrod is the best! :) then the bombers, then the rest :)

I love it all...

Except Denethor... the black lines on his are kind of distracting...
