Well you've all been moaning about the lack of Rhovanion Alliance screenshot updates, so I've uploaded 20 for your viewing pleasure. And there should be more to come in the nearish future.

In particular, the screens show off the new Mordor Catapult, more snow, Mirkwood Buildings and a new map.

Picture viewer is the same, just the latest version plus I changed the colours to match the site. I think once I perfect the mist I'll write up a tutorial on how to do it.

Here here.
So the troll will pick up the rock for the catapult automatically, right? It's just part of the animation? Oh, and thankyou M@tt. ;)

the work looks half decent.
I suggest a small improvement on the texture, The roof of this building is easily identifiably tiling maybe add a few diffrent textures and re-map it.

Often when reusing a part of a texture over your model, and if their near each other. You don't want to have any identifiable marks that would give away that its the same part of the texture.
Such as- scuff marks, cracks or even sections of damage. its like seeing the same ' Y ' shaped crack on a wall several times.

I don't have infinite texture resolution at my disposal, so it is actually the same texture used for all eight sides of the roof. However staring at it like that I can see misaligned UVs so I guess I'll fix them at some point

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

But every detail counts don't you believe?

Its often bad practice to re-use the same part of texture that can be easily identified, especially if its several times over, wouldn't you agree?

Well, yeah I agree, but this is an RTS, and some details doesn't need to be too.. ehm, detailed :p
However, yes, if their easily identified, then it can sometimes be a good idea to change it (reminds me of one of my own buildings...)

you practically hit it on the head with that, the tiling is on the TOP of the model and being and RTS you should clearly see it, unless its tiny enough to not get noticed
