I mean for other projects, you'd be better off with a student version of the newest version, or cracked. If of course if it's about .w3d 3ds max 8 is still best. Just my opinion

Yeah after 3 download errors which cost me 3gb of data it's finally installed. At the minute it's just the 2015 student version as you were saying
