help me please with shp's

hello all first of all I have to say I am not that verry good in English so help me out here.

 

I am a newbie modder. and I have a issue with my renderd shps (buildings)

I have put on a lott of effort into modeling.  after hours of tryng I finaly got my pillbox textured and all that

everything works it shows up in game with the right pallete and all that but how do I change for instance. were the fire or smoke comes out from. I know the codes but how do I know the coordinates.

same go's for the barrack I made a while a go. the infantry came out of a wall not from the door it looked realy stupid. I am trying for a week now. in the hope to become better. and it do's :) but I yust cant find a way to know the correct coordinates for example. damage animations like smoke or fire. or when a infantry tank or what ever have to come out of a building.

 

I use 3ds max with Ra2 SHP Tools 1.2

 

after that I render everything. and make it perhaps a bitt smaller with photoshop. when I am happy with the results in put it into the game. what am I doing wrong?

please help me out :)

Trial and Error on how to get them to placed on the right spot.
