Generals launches, Zero Hour doesn't

Try making a shortcut to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Generals.exe

Set that shortcut to run as Admin and with Win XP SP3 compatibility and try launching from that. Go to the full post

Hi guys,

Have Windows 8.1 and the Origin Ultimate Collection. Have installed the fixed launchers and latest GenTools. Generals launches for me fine, and I've been able to play with a buddy. I launch by clicking on the launcher from the origin folder, and it brings up Generals and Zero Hour box art. If I click on Generals, I get the loading splash screen and the game starts, if I click on Zero Hour, nothing happens. HOWEVER, if I then go to close Origin, I'm told that Zero Hour is running. Also, I'm running the Generals app as Administrator and in Windows XP SP3 compability. At a loss at  what else to do...

Anyone able to help?
