Hey I was going to start a mini mod workshop and i tried putting w3d viewer (installed from the Bfme2_sdkv2.exe) on my second computer ( a Mac Mini running windows 7)

and when I try to open it, i get the error the program can't start because msvcr71.dll is missing from your computer

I tried downloading the msvcr71.dll and putting it in both system32 and systemwow64,

Also I do have gmax and renx installed.

I noticed there is a msvcr71.dll in the BFME2 folder itself so i took the whole folder over on a zip drive to this secondary computer (even though i dont plan on playing the game w this PC) didnt fix it either...

tried run as admin too

any suggestions?

Yup putting that in the W3d viewer folder did it,

important to  note, you must put it in the Programfiles(x86)/Renegade Public Tools/w3dviewer folder, not the C:/BFME2 MOD SDK/W3D viewer folder
