i am trying to connect to kanes wrath. when i use the C&C online launcher it will show the loading screen like it is about to launch.

but then sadly does not. i hooked the launched to the game and clicked my shortcut on the desktop created by origin and the game loads up fully. but now when i try to log in it says "unable to connect to backend server"

also my ip adress shows up and it starts with 192 maybe the game is not hooked properly? as if i use the shortcut created by origin it does not launch the c&c online launcher.

ok i just tried actually using the KW shortcut not the c&c3 tw and kw shortcut.

this time the shortcut opened the c&c online launcher. only it did the same thing. (shows logo then disappears)

my ip on the game is 192.168.2.5

Whatever you did to get those logs (both of them) ought to have got you connected.     I suspect there is a networking problem.    You probably need to make a firewall exception for the game.

 

Anyway, I am not clear on how you got to that.     Please could you erase the log, try to launch via hooking (and if making a firewall exception did not work) post the new log.

i made exceptions (though im sure they were already made) i ran the shortcut to the game as admin and it loaded the c&c online lancher. i then clicked kanes wrath and the logo pops up then shortly thereafter disappears. the same log showed up. i am using windows 8.1 and i am running the game and the c&c online lancher in comparability mode for windows 8. both are ran as admin. i am using the origin ultimate collection and the only time the game actually launched all the way is if i dont use the c&c online launcher and i dont hook it. but that is when i get the backend server error. maybe theres something im doing wrong that is not allowing the game to load all the way up when i use the c&c online launcher?

OK forget the connection problem I mentioned; that is the log from when the game fails to load after the splash screen.   
 
Let's try this.      Can you install C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers and then try to launch from the launcher (so without hooking) and then post the log again?

I have the launcher fix installed but by starting the game from the launcher what exactly do you mean? i have the cnc3 tw/kw origin shortcut. the kw shortcut and the kw(origin) shortcut

oh excuse me the c&c online launcher brain fart there.

when i use the launcher without hooking i get no splash window and instead the log is this

I Also am experiencing the same problem in KW, RA3 and C&C3 but Generals works fine. I have the origin ultimate edition... when I try to connect to C&C online in the games I get a "Cannot connect to the back end server"

Open a command prompt (hit "run" on the start menu) type msconfig and then enter.

Go to the Services tab and find "Origin Client Services". Uncheck the check box (so there is no tick there). Then restart your computer.

When you have restarted, install this again; C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers.

Then try to launch the game from the launcher again and post the log please.

its actually not loading even the splash screen after that crash and i get this log again

Please could you repeat the operation we tried yesterday; make sure that the Origin Client service is still disabled on start up and reinstall the Ultimate Collection Launchers fixed launchers. Origin sometimes overwrites the changes made by those.
