You guys like reviving the technology of the old days (Red alert 1), right? Namely; The heavy Tank (Now Qilin Tank), & the Flamethrower (Now Pyro), but what about the old Flame Tower?
In the early Red Alert 1 days there was a Soviet base defence structure aptly named; the Flame Tower.
The Flame tower stored pressurized fuel in its two-mounted supply tanks. When an enemy was detected, it was discharged through heated hoses with glowing wires, causing the blend to spontaneously ignite into powerful, high pressure balls of flammable gas, which explode in a firestorm upon contact with an enemy or solid ground.
It was phased out and replaced by the Sentry Gun during the Third World War, but with the technological advances, it can come back even better.
Since there is already a Soviet anti infantry defence structure, namely; the Sentry Gun, I was thinking that it could be an advanced tier 2 Soviet defence structure completely dedicated for anti infantry proposes, instead of a basic tier 1 defence, like in the RA1 days. Besides; it'll be more befitting as a tier 2 defence structure due to all of the "fire-tech" stuff currently unlocked via tier 2, namely; the Borillo & Pyro.
If you would revive the old Flame Tower in any way, then I'd recommend adding it to the Latin Confederation's arsenal, due to their theme being heavily fire related.
Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestion. I hope you consider it, for; the Flame Tower was one of my favourite defence structures in the good ol' days.
