I have the same issue, only win 8.1

IF i enter an incorrect password it says it doesn´t match (understandably). IF i use the correct password it displays the message above,

I think i did everything correct, maybe i should forward some ports?

I tried again today and it´s solved, i didn´t change anything.

Maybe i needed to restart my computer or maybe it was a server side issue.

@MaestroZizou.    Alright.    I apologise for the delay in addressing this.     Again, your game has patched properly and you are making at least one of the requisite connections.     First off, go to Options (on the main menu) Settings->Network and make sure that the "Online IP Address" is set to either "No IP Address" or an address on the network you use to connect to the internet (192.168.*.* or 10.*.*.*)  and not a Hamachi address (i.e. not one starting with 25.).    That is the most likely cause of the problem you are experiencing.

If that does not help, try disabling you Anti-Virus and Windows firewalls completely while you try to connect, just to see if that is contributing to the problem.      If that fails, please would you post here immediately, and I will check the server log.      I will use the time of your post to do that, so please could you post as soon as possible after your connection attempt.
