You shouldn't use the C&C:Online Launcher to launch Generals or Zero Hour (the video needs to be updated). Install GenTool and then just launch the game normally (through its ordinary shortcut). If you are playing only those two games, you can uninstall the C&C:Online Launcher.
If you're using the Ultimate Collection, you should install this too; C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers by Bibber. That just needs to be installed once (unless an Origin update removes it).
