so my c&c is downloaded free when i hook it gets a checkmark before the game when i try to launch it says unable to launch zero hour please help ?

You need to install and use Gentool (http://gentool.net) instead of C&C:Online Launcher if you want to play Generals or Zero Hour Online.
Unhook Zero Hour from C&C:Online Launcher (click "Zero Hour" in the hook menu again, that checkmark should disappear, if you unhooked succesfully)
Then, install GenTool, and start your game normally (without using C&C:Online Launcher, just launch Zero Hour normally, for example from your Desktop shortuct)
