C&C RA3 Launcher/Login Issue

So I'm having a regular copy of RA3, I'm using windows 7 32bit and when I patched the game  for online and tried to launch the game again I got the "CA public key patching routine failed" message, I ignored it, tried to login, and the game wouldn't let me cuz it said I had to patch the game and the "patch available" message popped up even though I already did it.Now I tried "hooking" the game and I tried setting the launcher to Windows XP compatibility mode, I tried it and when I tried to launch the game it wouldn't launch and I got the error message "Unable to launch Red Alert 3".I tried setting both the RA3 and C&C Online launchers to XP compatibility mode and it launched the game but I got the same "CA public key patching routine failed" message.

You need to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode for RA3 but most importantly, you need to run "As Administrator". What version of Windows are you using? When you say "regular copy of RA3", do you mean a disk version? If so, you will need to patch it to version 1.12 (see here Patches & Game Versions) but if you are using Windows 10, you are going to have problems running with a disk version.

I did try using windows 7 compatibility I did run the game as administrator, yes by regular copy I mean a disk version I did patch the game to 1.12 through the in-game online patcher and still I get "CA public key patching routine failed" and when I launch the game the online patch pops up again and again and again and again.

Can you just clarify, before you try to launch, the game is already patched to 1.12?

How can I know without launching and checking the version by going to "settings' ?

Launch the game without the launcher and then (as you say) go Options->Settings. The version should show at the bottom right of the "General" tab.

Says I'm running version 1.09 so clearly the patch completely fails to install right? If you have an installer of the update 1.12 maybe I could try to do it from there, or maybe if theres a way to manually patch the game.

I do not know where you'd get a copy of the patch but I'm sure you'll find one on the net somewhere. The patch should download when you launch RA3 (in contrast to some games) but I would try to find a manual installer and see if that helps.

I appreciate the help, I don't know what else to do.I tried finding another copy of the patch online with no luck I was hoping you could help me.And idk maybe the patch fails to install for some other reason idk I'm not a programmer..

If you launch RA3 without the launcher and as administrator, you should trigger the patch download. If not, something's rather broken and you should reinstall.

the patch download trigers when i try to go online anyway, the point is no matter how many times i install the patch it pops up again and again like i didn't do it at all

Open regedit.exe, navigate to HKLM\SysWOW64\Software\Electronic Arts\Electronic Arts\version (or similar) and tell us what the value is.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/Software/Policies  the only folder in "software" is "Policies" and inside microsoft/terminal_servicies/client

Hold on I went to Software instead of system and it goes like this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Electronic Arts/Electronic Arts/ and then there's no "version" but 1 "Red Alert 3" folder and 1 "Red Alert 3" Sub-folder there's no "version" file in any of them but in the "Red Alert 3" sub-folder there's another folder named "1.0" if thats what you meant

I don't have access to my Windows computer at the moment, so I can't look it up. Have you tried reinstalling RA3 already?

I had this exact problem other times in the past before various pc formats, so I dont think it will change anything but I deffinately will try it, please notiffy me when you're computer is back online.
