Dear,

I'm having  issues playing with my brother online.

When i'm playing online (alone)  i can play without a problem.

Also he can

From the moment we want to play together WITH others for instance (2V2V2) we can't go through the loading time.

When we try to play online against each other 1V1 mostly it works!

Please help us out!!! this is really a big issue for us...

Kind Regards

I guess you and your brother are playing from the same internet connection? Did you make any changes to your modem settings (port forwarding etc) to get online in the first place?

You cannot both use port 16000. Forward port 16001 to your brother's PC and set 16001 as static port in his game's online settings.

Hello,

I've tried this without succeeding...

Port Forwarding is not giving the asked results...

Is there any possible reason?

We've put our firewall down of our router pc everything.

We both got the right gentool update.

We can both play without each other without any problem.

because we are on the same network we have the same UID in gentool player table in game.

Thanks in advance

KR

Please describe your exact configuration of your network and router.

  • What do you have enabled on the router? DMZ/IP passthrough/Port forwarding? Give exact details, please.
  • What is the IP address configuration of your and your brother's PC?
  • Did you set a static port in your and/or your brother's game? If so, which?

Having the same UID in GenTool should not prevent you from connecting.

Hi

For instance my ip ends at .107

I do port forwarding in my router settings for my ip-adres starting port 15999 end port 16002 (protocol both TCP/UDP)

My bro his ip-adress ends at 156 => port forwarding => startubg port also 15999 till 16002 (protocol both TCP/UDP)

what do you mean with the ip address configuration?

ingame static port in cnc he selects 16002 and i 16000

i guess IPV6 is not important?

Kind Regards

Thanks to help me out, i'm  not that technical but i'm trying this now for along time.

How does the router even let you forward the same ports to two different machines??

No, what you need is this:

  • Forward only UDP port 16000 to your PC (start port 16000, end port 16000, only UDP, TCP will not help)
  • Forward only UDP port 16001 to your brother's PC (start port 16001, end port 16001, only UDP, TCP will not help)
  • Ingame static port you select 16000
  • Ingame static port he selects 16001
