Its done but I haven't tested it yet. Corsix sent it to me just as I was out the door to work. I would need someone to test it to ensure all readme.txt work and are v1.3, that it installs correctly and shows v1.3 in the top-left menu, that it plays fine as it should. Then uninstalls fine as well.

I'll put it up on our site for the testers who can "inspect it" AND if all is good.. we GO GLOBAL ! ! ! :shiftee:

I had always error messages while the installer tried to delete old versions. This time it couldn't delete the strategies and plans folder. Nevertheless it installed fine as it did overwrite old stuff.

Note that these problems exist since version 1.0 and may be related to my language setting. I'm using german WinXP and the installer doesn't seem to be fully multilanguage capable. No need to delay further as this true since the start of our mod release.

So that means whats on the site currently is good? It installed fine into where it should, behaved the way it should? Last thing I want is to publish our project and have it not work. I'm sitting on the "hot button" here ready to release it.

I just tried it and it worked perfectly for me...as far as the install and delete of old version. NO PROBLEMS! Lemme check the ver. number in DOW and i'll be right back with results:

results: ver. 1.3 reading at top; looks primed and ready to go!

No problems here, and I've even had problems with previous installers not being able to delete the old versions; so it looks A-OK to me.

Cheers! Let's rock!

I also have no startmenu entry though the box is checked. Again due to language incompatibility. I suggest that Corsix tries to fix this for further releases AND makes the installer available to Thudo so we can release even while Corsix is on vacation ;-)

I can host this (and future versions)... since it's released, I'll just put it up.

For Larking et al.: This is the best strat I've come up with vs. CHAOS on blood river vs. the AI. This strategy took some ai observing, but after enough playing on this map to observe the ai tendencies, you'll see how I tech and capture....this is about as quick and decisive victory vs. CHAOS on this map I've done without just rushing:

It was a shame watching possessed standing right beside your plasma marines - doing nothing. Relic really fucked this up too. Btw you could have pushed and won much earlier. no need to let the AI get possessed/sorceror.

I know, I tend to like to amass a huge army so there isn't any surprises. Remember, it was this map where 1 walked into base ready to destroy it and I was met with about 5 defilers just sitting there and a tank! They pushed me out to the South, then also attacked my base from the East at the same time while defilers where bombing the crap out of me by their relic....eventually (rather quickly) they kicked my @ss. That was the last time I playe CHAOS on this map.

LOL, I guess that shook me up a little, haha; same with Eldar. the ai can really make a comeback so I make sure I'm more than ready I'm not playing for speed.

I did play some games on deadmans crossing for speed though, to see how fast I could overtake the ai. If you're ever interested in seeing that replay let me know because that's how I developed that forward base building strat.

Hmm..yeh, the AI still has it's issues, but...it's really come an extremely long way from the Relic AI, and it puts up a fairly good fight.
