For some reason, neither RA2, YR or TS want to display tooltips anymore when I hover over anything. I originally thought it was because of RP 1.08SE, but then I found out it wasn't. I then thought it was mod-related, until I noticed the same thing in TS. Does anyone have any idea as to why no tooltips are displayed?
Also, before you all say anything, yes the box is checked in the Options menu.

That's an odd one... sounds like the games weren't installed properly. I'm going to take a stab an say you're using XP... so try Windows 98/ME compatability and see if that helps.

Yeah i have had some problems like this as beo said i think it was windows 98 that helped

It's strange though, yes I am using XP, problem is they worked fine about a month ago, and I haven't reinstalled either of them recently. I'll try compatibility modes and see. Thanks for your help guys.

Joke, ok so i didnt read your post, is that really a sin.

Well, I've put the game into a Windows 98/ME compatibility mode (all 3 EXE files [gamemd, RA2MD and YURI]) and the tooltips still didn't show up, however whenever I played the game again the next day, the tooltips were there, and in TS as well. I don't know what caused them to return, but at least the problem's solved, so this topic's sort of over and done with now.
