With the Empire's seemingly endless supply of super star destroyers, these two units offer a serious threat to the massive dreadnoughts... and neither of them is larger than 50 meters. The BTL K-wing and Gamma-class ATR Assault Transport have been added to Phoenix Rising! The ultimate heavy bomber, the K-wing has more weapons systems than any other ship its size when fully upgraded, including new shield-busting plasma torpedoes. As one of the smallest ships to mount turbolasers, the anti-capital ATR Assault Transport can dish out damage in all directions while its thick hull plating proves difficult for fighter screens to penetrate. Check out the shot below to see a K-wing squadron in maneuvers, then head to the Screenshots gallery for 11 more images:

Yeah, the ATR is probably my favorite transport. I still have fond memories of Storm Unit from X-wing. The ETR is a little tougher, but completely lacks the ATR's style. If I was in-universe, I would definitely have an ATR (illegally modified, of course ).
Anyways, I am back from vacation and excited to get back to work on the mod. I read Rebel Stand on the cruise (yeah, I'm a little behind on my reading) and I'm pumped to add more units into the fray. Next up: a battleship for the Alliance .

Might I make a suggestion? If you are looking to add a battleship for the Rebels, you might try the Mediator Battlecruiser. I owned the Imperials with it in CIS(Conflicts in Space) and, personally, I think the Rebels need another dreadnaught type ship other than the MC120.

The Mediator is too large to be in the battleship class (it would be a dreadnought), but I did come up with what I think is a decent fit. I'm actually posting news about it right now in the other window, I just got distracted, heh.
I think the Independence-class will be it for Alliance dreadnoughts in the initial release, but I don't plan on keeping it that way in subsequent versions. It's also likely that the Eclipse will lack its listed turbolaser/turboion armaments due to the limitations of PG's model. Depending on how things turn out, I may replace the Executor-class with another dreadnought until I can give the Rebels something equivalent. That being said, I have been able to destroy the 19-kilometer ships, so it's not impossible.
