Observations of interest: CL was not inclined to engage 2 NW squads even though he had joined 4 cultists and had 4 CSM in support. He exhibited somewhat the same behavior as the NL in my previous 1v1 game: Charge, attack once and retreat (rinse and repeat). Sometimes the whole chaos force seemed to regret charging and retreated as soon as they "saw" my 2.5 squads NW with Disruption Field. Eldar Guardians was being pursued by ASM and turned Fleetfooted on and off repeatedly running over half the map. It seems as if as soon as they turned it on they distanced the ASM by 5 mm and then the AI thought that they were safe, but then the ASM gained on them again.
Watched this game for the first time. AI was bad here. Main reason is the twisted pathing on this map. AI was forced to bypass turrets/LP2 as it thought the path to be safe but it was not. This could not be fixed as relic threat on path code is still broken. But there are some points which should be fixed. First of all the old move to CC, then retreat problem. CL showed this problem as you already desribed, Raptors too as well as farseer. There is still some need to fix this eventually for 2.4. If a CC decided to go into combat it should at least fight it out for some time, not just retreat a few seconds later and rinse/repeat. CL was useless. Raptors too. Another problem is the attack LP2 but don't destroy it completly behavior. Eldar FoF was strange too. This replay shows lots of points which can be improved.
