Of course, the Imperial-class was introduced in the mini-mod. The missing two are the Tector-class Star Destroyer and the Dominator-class Star Destroyer, which are researched in that order.
The Tector-class, although relatively obscure, was the sister class to the original Imperator, sharing a division of labor similar to the Venator and Victory in terms of carrying capacity. While the Imperial-class is all-around versatile, the Tector was specifically designed with one purpose: to kill enemy capitals. The prominent hangar bays on the Imperial have been plated over with thick armor on the Tector, hiding the vulnerable innards from enemy fire. All turboions have also been replaced with regular turbolasers, making it much more effective at breaching hulls, and to combat against corvettes and frigates, six torpedo tubes were added on the lateral tip of the bow. The fact that the Rebellion was short on capital ships meant that the Tector-class Star Destroyer was only produced in limited numbers, but at least one was present at Endor.
Although Sienar Fleet Systems beat rival Kuat Drive Yards to producing a standard gravity well platform in its conversion of the Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser to the Immobilizer 418, some commanders found the Immobilizer to be underpowered in combat. KDY answered with the Dominator-class Star Destroyer, based on its Imperial II design. To accommodate the massive gravity well projectors, the main battery from the Imperial-class had to be removed, along with half of its light cannons and the majority of its tractor beam projectors. The end result, however, was a ship with gravity manipulation capabilities that did not require an escort. Research into an improvement on this class was underway in the Deep Core when the Yevetha rebelled, taking the EX-F testbed with them. After their defeat by the New Republic, these breakthroughs led to a revolution in gravity well design that culminated in the Mon Mothma during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion.
