I thought lvl 9 was the highest (not sure)
you gain those levels by fighting more battles with that faction (in your case Isengard)

lvl 10 is the highest.
You must continue to play with that faction and win more games with that faction to reach a higher rank.
Good Luck! :p

then why is it that i have made it up to level 10 on mine?

go to C:/Documents and Settings/(your user name)/application data/my battle for middle-earth 2 files and open a ini called (profilename)RealTimeStats.

in the ini you will see lines like these:
DwarvesPoints =
ElvesPoints =
MenPoints =
MordorPoints =
IsengardPoints =
WildPoints =

followed by some number. replace those numbers with 1500 and save the file. then go into the game and check out your profile's stats. you'll see that for the factions with 1500 points, they are rank 10. no matter how many points above 1500 you go, it is still rank 10.

i don't know why Brutal is considered level 9. yet another thing EA goofed on.

Lies, .......You can't prove me wrong either.

that sounds very condescending and egotistical to me. i kindly and calmly suggest that you should better rephrase such replies. but i am not offended in any way.

Pick up your BFME instruction manual and READ IT.

Maximum Level is LvL 9 (which is "Dark Lord" or "King"). Try heading online *shiver* and look at the highest ranked people... 1000 wins, 900 losses, lvl 9.

PS: I will phrase my statements however I wish.

HOLY SHIT!

You're double wrong.

Lvl 9 = King / Ring Wraith

Lvl 10 = Wizard / Dark Lord

LEVEL 10!

Now, isn't this something. For the first time EVER a game manual was wrong.

WOW.

A Game manual wrong.

NEVER.

That is the points breakup, so you know where each side is at:

DwarvesPoints = 1000

ElvesPoints = 1100

MenPoints = 1200

MordorPoints = 1300

IsengardPoints = 1400

WildPoints = 1500

Max Online Rank is level 9... Or at least that I have seen :glare: According to the manual, you can get level ten at 5000 Points, but nobody has ever reached that milestone.

Considering how much RotWK / BFME II wasn't exactly done well in tems of balance and how long it took the balance pataches to come out (And RotWK still being screwed) it doesn't suprise me.

Ok, I've decided to do a little "research" around the levels so here are the results:

Good sides (I played with men): Evil sides ( I played with Isengard):
1. Peasant Scum
2. Soldier Vermin
3. Warrior Beast
4. Knight Goblin
5. Royal Guard Orc
6. Captain of the guard Mountain Troll
7. High lord Berserker
8. Prince Dark wizard
9. King Ringwraith
10. Wizard Dark Lord

Ok, I hope this is OK

i have seen 2 people with lv9 that are both Dark Lords, they are level nine and yet they got their "Dark Lord" tittle. I have seen a level9 that is King, his favorite army was Dwarfs. I always though the highest was 9.
