For some reason in my mod the melee units for every race just stopped being able to attack. I have no clue what could cause this but it does give them the option to attack an enemy. It's just that once they get to the enemy they are supposed to be attacking they stand in front of them and don't do anything. Long range units however work fine still. Any clue what is going on?

so their animations dont work either?
And do your weapons work? (are they made correctly?)
When did they stop attacking? (if you know when then try to see what you changed when they stopped )

I have no idea when they stopped working. The animation doesn't play, they don't even try to swing their weapon. No damage is dealt either to the enemy when told to attack. I don't think it's the weaponset because I haven't modified anything in the weapons just yet I don't think.
Here's a list of some of the stuff I have modified so far

video.ini
voice.ini
That's pretty much it besides the mappedimage ini's and the actual unit ini's. So it has to be somthing in one of these ini files I guess.

So NONE of the units at all do any melee damage? none at all or only the ones you modified?
