This is just my personal "research". I'd like to know what kinds of maps players tend to like. The results of the poll might get mirrored into campaign to some extent.

What exactly do you mean by 'kinds of maps'? Just want to be sure before I vote.

The hero maps and limited army maps are my favorite. I find it much more fun to to try and with a set number of troops. Much harder thinking, and more realistic.

I suppose I like the RPG style maps and the defense maps. Ones where you have to set ambushes are fun as well.

Different kinds of maps:

Fellowship - Moria, Amon Hen
Fellowship combined with armies - Lothlorien, Shelob's Lair
Survival Maps - Black Gate
Siege maps - Minas Tirith, Helms Deep
...
...
...

I voted Helm's Deep and Moria.
The race of Men is failing, the blood of Númenor is all but spent – its pride and dignity forgotten… It is because of Men the Ring survives.

This is indeed 2nd poll about campaign. The first one had next to no value for me.

I didn't like that. The bridge was already destroyed by then. The only way across was boats.

Yeah the osgiliath mission was pretty boring; just sit there in towers and slaughter the orcs that were stupid enough to cross.

Helm's Deep and the hero-only ones were nice, and Ithilien too.

I mainly disliked it b/c it wasn't true to the book.

I thought the Black Gate mission was really one of the only challenging missions that was kind of fun. Both the Helm's Deep and Minas Tirith maps could have been lots of fun but EA did a horrible job on them... of course, I'm fixing the Helm's Deep one.

The seige of Minas Turith all the way. Took me 2 days to finaly beat the comp on hard. If we would remake Minas Turith for our own campain map, I would even design it. (Always thought EA made it too Small...) Also had my favorite line...

"Gandfalf the White? Bah! Gandalf the Dead!"

My personal favorite was from TEA. I LOVED the Mirkwood campaign. Helm's Deep was also well improved. I couldn't possibly get myself well enough prepared for MT ever, so I just spammed archers with fire arrows and used my little friend, the near-infinite timed AotD. I hated MT. Hopefully, the RJ mod will fix that and give me a sizeable force, or at least make it so my infantry actually kill things. The Black Gate was another favorite, though getting to there and Mirkwood was a pain in my arse.
And Pasidon... if Minas *TIRITH* is your favorite map, please learn to spell it right.

He, presumabley deliberately, spells certain words wrong in a sentence. It's like a game, spot which one is so abhorrently wrong :p
