Ladies and gentlemen,
I am pleased to give you Brentaal IV.

Brentaal IV is one of the wealthiest worlds, sitting on top of one of the most important trade hubs in the galaxy. Most of the planet is covered with starports, industrial complexes, factories, and trade markets. Brentaal IV is also covered in plateaus, cramming it's 65 billion residents into the valleys below, that's a tight fit! The world has a history of occupation. Captured by the Sith millennium before during the Sith Wars, and more recently the Confederacy took control of the planet briefly during the Clone Wars.

The majority of the population is involved with shipping or trading in some fashion, meaning whoever controls this planet will surely reap the benefits.

Brentaal IV will be part of the next release.


Stay tuned, there may be more to come before the next release.

Why, o why? :( Now I'll need to rethink my idea of getting rid of land part of the mod :rolleyes:

Great job.

I tried making maps a year ago too confusing in addition if you make them too big weird shit starts happening (and by "too big" I mean decently sized).

It's refreshing to be able to comment on a news post for once :p. Fantastic job, as always. Being the only major hyperlane intersection in the Core, this is arguably the most strategically important planet in the game and will show up in campaigns more often than not, so it's good that we have a custom map for it. Here's some of the concept art we used for comparison:

wow that is good. Nice. Great job that is great we will now have more maps for land! How high do you have your graphics settings? I could never get mine that good!

It's the editor, and I have my desktop resolution set at 1600x1200. That's why it looks so good, in-game results will be different unless you have all your settings turned up. ;)

Somewhat, but some of the images in it are erroneous to Brentaal's description.

I have a few questions...

How large are you making PR maps?

And are there custom textures?

They all vary in size, depends on the background of the planet/number of bases/what I think fits.

And are there custom textures?


I think I've done a few in the past with mixmatching the presets, but for Brentaal IV they were all presets. :D

Yes, PR managed to find an extractor for that bug, so I think all of them will.
