*long quote deleted* /Naz

Pretty good update :) I thought you guys had models for Gamling, Beregond, Pippin, Merry, and the Easterling King. I swear, I was looking through the files for 4.5 and I saw something with Gamling in there. Idk. ;) Here's an image if you want to reskin the horse to Brego; not sure if you need it, but here:

With grimbeorns bear form the troll attack anims would suit quite well for standing up and swatting. Though it still wouldn't have anims to stand up from running on all fours. Poo

Yeah, perhaps someone (Lauri maybe?) could animte a standing anim. For attack anims on foot I guess the trol could be ported (Ridder Geel perhaps?) hehe

@KingElessar: No need to quote the entire list... :p... but you are right. We do have some of those models. I forgot to update :p *updating*
For the hobbits in armor, I miss helmets for them. Hence the needed models...

Each of Harad and Rhûn have 7 heroes to make a cast out of: 6 male and 1 female. That is a total of 14 heroes. That could be for beta 4.8 when the two human factions are split into 4 (Gondor, Rohan, Harad, and Rhûn).

Harad's heroes are Fuinur, Herumor, Angamaitë, Sangahyando, Berúthiél, Castamir, and The Black Serpent.

Rhûn's heroes are Ulfang, Ulfast, Ulwarth, Uldor, Brodda, Aerin, and Lorgan. They are all from earlier years but they are the only canonical Easterling and Haradrim heroes in the Middle earth universe.

... Berúthiél ...

Oh, she would be no good without her cats:

from Unfinished Tales, The Istari, note 7:

She had nine black cats and one white, her slaves, with whom she conversed, or read their memories, setting them to discover all the dark secrets of Gondor, so that she knew those things "that men wish most to keep hidden," setting the white cat to spy upon the black, and tormenting them.

BTW, on hero names ... why use are all those dead heroes, when you can make contemporary ones, by given them titles either in the Common Speech or in Adúnaic?

What Adúnic titles are there?

I'll give just one example - I've offered Nazgûl those names twice at least (in the staff forum), and he can still have them if he wants to, but I'll post them later in the Lore Forum, so they will be available for everyone who might want to use them.

The full name of the latest king of Númenorë was Ar-Pharazôn kathuphazgânun "King Pharazôn the Conqueror" - kathuphazgânun is the subjective form, from which you can derive the normal form kathuphazgân "Conqueror" ... or as name/title for a hero: Kathuphazgân

Such titles can be constructed in various ways, depending on which class the noun belongs to, like strong Neuters undergo certain internal vowel-changes, so you need some basic understanding of Adûnaic to form such names.

Possible hero powers for The Misty Mountains. Some powers would need more specialised units, or actually, just armour. I've probably got the leadership mixed up, I came up with the names and then assigned powers.

CAwMcNMs.png Azog

206Lk21s.png We are Legion

Calls forth a battalion of Dol Guldur Soldier Orcs.

Azog reveals to Gandalf the hidden forces the Necromancer has been gathering.
Soldier Orcs sounds like an intentional mistranslation, which works well for Orcs.

umVKOkgs.png Wipe out their Line

Target hero suffers bonus damage when attacked.

Azog has sworn to wipe out the line of Durin.

pZiOgJOs.png Summon Warg Matriarch

Summons the white warg for Azog to mount.

jF2rgN2s.png The Defiler

Debuff to defence of enemies.

Azog carved his name into the lifeless head of King Thror, sending it with a message to all Dwarves.

ODRRFJms.png Greatest of the Gundabad Orcs

Leadership to all units of the Misty Mountains.

PlTQBqHs.png Serves the One

Buy upgrade: Azog gains his heavy armour set and bodyguards, the elites of Dol Guldur.

Or lvl 5 Soldier Orcs.

Bolg
Morgul arrow
Warrior priests of Sauron have laced the tip with a spell of poison. Non-hero units will turn to wights on death.

Ash Warg
Summons Bolg's warg.

High Pass Mercenaries
Hires weak goblin mercenaries, armoured in their carapaces against the sun.

Or Moria goblins.

Laceration
Ritualistic self-mutilation increases attack at a cost to health.

"a deep cut or tear in skin or flesh."

Castellan

Buy upgrade: Gundabad Berserkers guard Bolg.

Or lvl 5 Soldier Orcs. Bolg has a bodyguard in the book.

Yazneg
Evisceration

Disembowel target enemy.

"removal of viscera (internal organs, especially those in the abdominal cavity)"

Mount/Dismount

Evade

Increases speed for a short duration.

Fimbul

Mount/Dismount

Tracker

Reveal small area of the map

Hire Spies

Target unit is always visible.

Captain of the Hunter Orcs

Leadership to Hunter Orcs.

I've added power icons to the list above. I'm particularly happy with the custom Eye of Sauron.

How do you know? I did a quick check and I could not find anywhere saying if Pallando's other name was definitely Morinehtar or Rómestámo.

We all know that Rómestámo means east-helper, and therefore this Istari would be travelling in Rhun. But how do you connect the Blue Wizards two sets of names?

I like to avoid the wikias. I think our best judgement is to say that whatever order Tolkien said them in that is their names.
