I've been pretty busy on stuff this week but I thought I'd show the new reskinned Warg Lair and wargs as well as a bit more of the Rohirrim.

The brown warg is the male and the grey one is the female :p

Looks very impressive and will the Isengard wargs use the same skins and not like 2 seperate wargs in Vanilla?

I better stretch because this one is a big one, lots of screenshots.

First up is the newly made Westfold Shieldmen.
The Westfold Shieldmen are Rohan's main defensive and anti cavalry unit.

While you wait for Rohan's next big update I've updated the tech trees for Harad and Isengard over at the Tech Tree Index
Hopefully I should have Mirkwood, Arnor, Deep and the Fiefdoms are up sometime in the near future.

Another little update on things.
I've changed the science costs for all factions.

They were 1>3>6>8>16 they are now 1>3>6>12>24.
I did this to stretch out games a little bit and to make sure there isn't too much spell abuse in an average game.
That and the new numbers make a little more sense.

In other minor news I'm changing the name of More Orcs to Rally.

Once again I'm pushing back the big Rohan update since there's a couple things I want to care of first which will take some time.

In the meantime I thought give you guys a taste of what's to come with LWR's mapping stuff.
Below are some teaser screens of the new items mappers get to play with.
These only make up a fraction of what will be available and aren't even everything I've added in the last week.
(These images will be posted in the Map prop topic as well.

First off are some of the new Undergrowth objects so far there are 5 Fern objects, 10 "Generic"types, 2 flowering bushes, 1 berry bush, 3 Golden coloured bushes, 1 Red, Pink and 3 desert varieties.
There'll also be singular versions of each of these.
Some of these are shown in the second Tree sample.

Many many trees will be added pictured below are 2 sets of Conifer trees, Beech (2 normal, 2 Golden and 3 Red), Willow, 5 snow trees, 6 Conifer Snow Trees, 3 Riven Snow trees, 3 Rowan trees, Apple, Pink Flowering, Lebethron,

Just a bit of a progress report because very little of modding is pretty pictures.

I've been working on a great many things in the last couple weeks and not so much on Rohan and Gondor.
The Rohan update is all but ready but just awaiting a couple things I have to finish first.
I've coded in a few of the factions to a stable point where the majority of Units, Upgrades and Buildings are in game and usable.
Rivendell, Mordor, Isengard, Harad, Rhun and Dunland are all at various stages of progress with all of these at least being playable and stable.

So far 7 factions have working AI the 4 Vanilla factions as well as Rivendell, Harad and Dunland.

The Watchtowers and Expanding CPL are both in.

There's already a large amount of Terra (various map stuff) done.
The majority of Trees, Shrubs, Rocks and Critters are in.

In summary the mod is progressing well and it's starting to resemble the mod I envision.
