Dol Amroth

The Haven city of Southern Gondor.
Built by the Numenoreans in the area known as Belfalas.
The city is lead by Prince Imrahil as a Principality in service of Gondor.
The Princes of Dol Amroth claim Elvish blood.
The core military units are the Knights of Dol Amroth, these knights are Riders of high renown, valiant and loyal.

theadbar.png
The city serves as the capital for the Belfalas and lies south of the Elven haven Edhellond.
Dol Amroth has many structural similarities to Minas Tirith and Minas Ithil before it's fall.
It's known for it's high white walls providing protection against the waves.
It is layed out in 3 levels the City,The Wings and the Courtyard.
The city level is the largest being made up of both residential structures,Military,Craftsmen and Military including the Stables.
The Wings are made up to smaller areas the Left and Right Wings lie on either side of the Courtyard.
The Courtyard lies High above the City and is home to the Prince's Hall and the Fountain of Amroth.

There will likely be 3 versions of this map made, the first is a cinematic map that I'll be using for trailers etc and may release it solely for
it's cinematic value.
The second is the Multiplayer version and the Scenario map.
More information will be released about the scenario version at a later date.

theadbar.png
The Multiplayer map is a 2 Player Castle map with a Camp and an Outpost.
The Camp is in the city and the Outpost is in the Right Wing.
Each Castle will be on either side of the City the players will fight in the streets of Dol Amroth.
The City also has 2 gates on the East and West sides of the city these gates can be claimed by players and once claimed can be controlled.
So a player can lock the other inside or outside of the city if they hold both, once claimed the Gates become destructible but can also be repaired.
Look to the new thread on Context Plots for more information on this feature.

More pictures please of this one! Or will we have to wait?

I am guessing the flowers are one of your custom terrains?

Tolkien has also used the name Barad Amroth in connection with the city, indicating it had high tower like Minas Tirith [Barad = Tower].

The part you see in screenshot is the courtyard in front of the Hall.
The flowers are part of the LW terrain set.
There will be more screens later, this is just a teaser.
