hi,

my mod isnt working anymore. I have NPatch SE 0022 and my yuris revenge is updated fully. I have windows 7 and i am running program as administrator. the first decade is updated fully also. when i try to run it, it says "error finding game". Its weird because it use to work, but it wont work now. please help. i also dont have any other mods installed in red alert 2 folder.

Did you perhaps change anything with the game directory, such as moving or renaming it?

Did you change anything else in the game directory before it stopped working?

Error finding game means that your installation is damaged. XCC Mod Launcher uses the registry to find YR and extract the actual mod into the game. You either renamed your RA2 dir, or you reinstalled your Windows and your RA2 dir was unchanged since the reinstall.

Check if your YR CD allows you to play the game, if not, reinstall the whole.

yuris revenge isnt working, so i guess i have to reinstall it, but is there a way to reinstall it without my key? i lost my key idk what happen to it.

update: My red alert 2 works but my yuris revenge isnt working.

no i didnt change anything. its weird that its not working no more. Is there a way to reintall yuris revenge/ra2 without my key? i lost it, idk what to do?

It is against the forum policy to discuss such, however, and I'm sure a moderator will be fixing your post to reflect the policy on such.

Even if you bought the game, it is still illegal to crack it, use hacks, or ask for CD-keys from others.

You could try to check if you still have the registry entries using regedit. While that won't give you back your key (that's encrypted) you could modify HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Westwood/Yuri's Revenge\InstallPath to point it to your ra2md. Same goes towards the Red Alert 2 dir there. (The above path is on WinXP, IIRC Win7 registry a bit differs, but there should be a Westwood subdir somewhere in it and from there everything still applies, also FolderPath points toward the Start Menu folder, so skip that.)

You don't have a original YR game file, simply copy from the CD and put in the game directory,
