Special Weapon Squad (Drogue Airmen Squad)
Notes: Like Phantine, warfare on low gravity Harakon is predominantly air based. Ground warfare gets bogged down in endless mountain passes. Much of hive city defense is done from Imperial Drogues, which are giant dirigible aircraft/troop carriers that fire broadsides, board each other, and land troops. These troops have a somewhat different weapons than those manning static hive defenses, making them suitable for sniping at the crew of other airships or storming. Flamer, Plasma Rifle, Meltagun, Sniper Rifle, Carapace Armor

Company Command Squad - Junior Officer (Decorated Adjutant)
Notes: Speaks with a Harakoni accent but has something of an eager zeal. Vehicles

Sentinel (Sentinel)
Notes: Do IG vehicles generally have Charge and Combat lines? There was one madman tank commander in the 11th Brimlock who installed loudspeakers on his Leman Russ, but I think that was an exception. Gameplay

Best characterized as heavy drop troops, the Harakoni Warhawk Regiments hail from a mountainous low gravity world where hive spires tower into low orbit war revolves around airpower. They are excellent drop troops and pilots who hone their aerial skills hunting the indigenous wildlife, not the least the massive Vapour Wyrms (dragons). They generally don’t attack in en mass in accordance with Imperial doctrine, but prefer to drop or airlift hardhitting troops to launch swift attacks at vulnerable positions, supported by artillery and overhead air wings. They are especially famed for their grav-gliders, which are light and agile atmosphere aircraft used to land troops and engage lightly armored enemies. They make heavier use of infantry and stormtroopers and less armor as a result.

-Drop Squads don’t have as many heavy weapons as vanilla IG, two per squad at most.

-Harakoni lack most heavy armor

-Unlike Elysians, their drop troops are not meant to do hit and run. Instead when dropping en mass, they can overrun isolated outposts or establish perimeters to hold off the enemy while hammering them with airstrikes and offmap artillery, move in to finish the survivors. Once they have a Firebase Command, they should be able to build fortifications on par with vanilla IG.

-Most of your firepower is going to come from your artillery and air support abilities

-A bunch of these abilities are meant to do their damage all at once and then have a long recharge time, so you have to choose tactically the best time to use them

-Air Officer should have Strafing Run ability, which is less powerful but has greater range than the IG command squad’s ability.

-Commodore-Colonel should have Marauder Run ability, which is three marauders doing a carpet bombing run.

-Vox Operator should have Air Cover ability, which is a big glider shadow circling around and shooting bolter shells at enemy in an radius around the Vox Operator from the sky, damaging infantry a bit more and vehicles/buildings only a little. The ability just does damage, but the FX are single bolter shots coming down at enemy units from the sky, making little puffs of dirt where they hit the ground.

-Astropath should be limited to one, and have Defense Torpedo ability. Very slow recharging, very expensive ability. Basically a nuclear missile that falls from the sky.

-Basilisks have “Creeping Barrage” ability
Note: target an area. numerous smaller explosions fall from one end of the targeted area to the other, starting at the end closer to the basilisk. basically like if the basilisk fired a sort of MIRV shell. The idea behind the Basilisk/Manticore/Vendetta is that you have use their abilities well to support your ground-pounderes or the vehicles just won't be worth their price.

-Manticores have “Missile Barrage” ability
Note: six or eight (depending on the unit model) manticore missiles fall over a wide area, each doing a lot of damage but highly likely to miss. In contrast, its normal attack is very slow and firing single missiles at a time.

-Vendettas have “Rocket Pod” ability
Note: lots of little rockets absolutely saturate an area. Good for decimating one squad/vehicle/building if you hit it full on.
