According to our ModDB page, v1.1 was released in December 2008, so it's been roughly three years. <Insert Valve Time joke here>

Phoenix Rising, head of mapping. Thanks to everyone who got us to the position below!

good god the wait, well now that ive waited so long for you guys I'll have no trouble waiting for a girl :whatoa:

That's actually BRILLIANT ! :good:

Careful... I know how to make Black Forest cake.

How'd you like a good, up of the border, bottle of ice wine with that? :wink_new:

But seriously, I think you should bake yourself a cake, it's certainly well deserved. And that's still true even if, somehow, 1.2 manages to be a complete piece of... which, of course, it won't be.

If it's hard then it's worth doing.

I'm not sure if it's Brilliant for waiting for a girl as you don't wait for the girl you have to go out and find one.

Back on topic though I've had to stop playing Thrawns Revenge as I got burned out too quickly and it doesnt have the depth that PR has so I am waiting for 1.2 For me PR v1.1 was fine until I got further in the campaign then it became way too laggy so with what has been said about the performance boost in 1.2 I can't wait to give it a go.

Its a complicated situation ;)

so does this mean a release in the next few days or we wait for a few days to find out how much longer we have to wait

Waiting to wait :whatoa:. Going to have the testers verify that nothing really bad happens with it first.

You know, we do have female fans... anyone want to try Skirmish for matchmaking :D?

At least it's soon! personally I haven't even played any empire at war for a while now, my disc broke and replacing certain files made PR run all funny... so i've been waiting for 1.2 to find a new disk. and i'd take you up on that but I wouldn't want to get in smashedsaturn's way :wink_new:

That'd require me actually fixing my EaW install, since, well... it hasn't actually worked in two years.

Same, since I suspect PR 1.2 will need a working EaW. :crazed:

Hi, long time no see. Just wanted to congratulate for your perseverance and professional work, I would be very happy to see you working in the future in LucasArts, and to ask you if you've fixed the issue with the AI stockpiling huge amounts of money in Galactic mode and not doing anything with it, stopping production entirely. I found this very annoying and is perhaps the main reason why I stopped playing v1.2 some time ago. Oh, and what about that issue with the Empire's SSDs not showing their health bar?
Thanks and good luck in the final stages of development! I know its going to be awesome.

First thing, the galactic AI are much better now and generally build things all the time, even if they look like they're just stockpiling. Secondly, the health bar issue with SSDs is not fixed because it's part of the game engine, unfortunately. The health bar is there, it's just very high up.

Phoenix Rising, head of mapping. Thanks to everyone who got us to the position below!
