In this topic I will collect the bugs in the client (launcher) that need to be fixed. If you think you've found a bug, please post it here.

 

• Game version says 1.06 instead of 1.05. FIXED
• Uninstalling the client might fail if for some reason you uninstall BFME before because of the version check. FIXED

hi.

I suggest adding an auto start option for starting game for the "T3A:Online for BFME 1".

Please; clicking twice for launching the lotr game is not necessary.

The launcher is there to provide easy and automatic access to the frequent updates we will be releasing to improve the server stability and fix bugs. Without it, we would have to rely on people reading about new updates and then getting the update on their own. I would rather have to click twice than get even more out of synch errors due to people forgetting about client updates.

Just use the Ctrl+B shortcut, it takes half a second.

Heyo,

 

I think I've downloaded everything correctly and installed everything that needs to be. But every time i press Launch BFME it just opens an exact duplicate of the window and it never runs the client. I've tried uninstalling it 3 times and the same thing has happened every time. Has this been noticed before and is there any way I can fix it? As im keen to start playing again... Cheers.

Have you tried setting your desktop shortcut to Windows XP service pack 2 compatibility?

Can you give me a detailed step-by-step process of what you've done? Including game installation, patches, client installation etc.

I downloaded the game using dropbox and after that was completed set up an account on this and liked the facebook page etc. Then downloaded the patch and then downloaded the client and installed it.

Using dropbox? What kind of game do you have? Is it cracked?

 

If it is cracked, you might want to try uninstalling it and installing this: http://forshire.blog...rth-online.html

 

Alternatively, you can also torrent regular BFME1, find a CD-key online (lots of them available), and use mini-images, found here: http://forshire.blog.../downloads.html Then install 1.03 from here: http://www.moddb.com...h-105/downloads and then 1.05, then install the client.

It sounds like the game's launcher got overwritten with ours twice. If you use the Online Edition, you do not have to install the client - it's already included.

Every single time I try to start up my BFM2 now it says it is not in the disc tray, even though it is

So i am trying to launch the game and i downloaded everything and got patch 1.06, but before that i used the ea patch download. So now when i try to load the game my launch button does not work? Any idea on how to fix this thanks.

BFME1 game crashed twice with a writing to illegal address error (with a PC turn off and restart in between and nothing else run  BFME1 - writing to wrong address error.pdf   159.49KB   91 downloads)

 

Windows 10 on a i7 series 2 laptop

 

Solo play, skirmish, Andrast map - me as Rohan - opponent Random (but Rohan both times) - hard difficulty (in case it makes a difference)

 

The second time I captured the debug message (2 shots due to the part of the message that scrolls) and have attached it below

This might be a bug due to the graphics driver. Does this bug ever occur on maps without water (waves)? For example, do you get it on Fords of Isen?

Hey doghouse , i have the Same issue.
I just downloaded the game and everything and the multiplayer worked just fine , 2 hours later i wanted to play the game online again so i typed my login name and password but it kept saying : could not connect to the battle for middle earth servers.
Anyone can help me out over here ?
