Hello!

 

The intention of this topic is to be able to have some deeper discussions about specific topics you'd like to discuss (more or less between you 3 only).

 

It would be nice to have some kind of feedback from Wing, Light and y0shi how it all goes.

 

You could also post from time to time what progress you make, eg "today I learned that land is not only for scenery and how it helps to win vs Isen" etc.

 

Posting replays of games you played is also possible, your mentor will probably review them.

 

 

We wish both of you some fun and we look forward to see you on the server!

I guess Im your mentor for the time being, post any replays  you want me to take a look at, and I'll watch em as soon as I got some free time on my hands.

 

If you'd like we can also meet on the server, play some games and talk things over through skype/ts for better communication.

Incase you guys don't know how to "wallcheck" then I strongly suggest you watch this great video that shows how its done

we chated a lot and played some games. I learned how to play at very first of the game (in case of gondor and isen) . and learned how to wallcheck
I also saved advices that yoshi gave to me . may be useful for other noob players

Yoshi: and its fol
Yoshi: you defend
Yoshi: u check with hobbit
Yoshi: if its roh u defend with all
Yoshi: if its gondor u can creep with 2 soldiers and pippin
Yoshi: most gondors will either creep themselfs or just try and stop u from creeping
Yoshi: you most know how to do this, when playing some1 thats "random"
Yoshi: else you will have big trouble when playing better players
Light[IS]: why Isengard always builds 1 or 2 furance and then destroys it?
Yoshi: because
Yoshi: when you are isen vs random
Yoshi: you make 2 furn pit
Yoshi: and wallcheck
Yoshi: if its fod
Yoshi: you delete pit and
Yoshi: make furn
Yoshi: cuz 3 furn is much better vs isen
Yoshi: and it works vs mrodor too
Yoshi: if its fol
Yoshi: u delete both furns and keep pit
Yoshi: and buy both mills
Yoshi: or delete 1 furn and take one mill
Yoshi: both ways work, i prefer deleting both furns and going for 2 mills + pit
Yoshi: stronger eco and faster pikes.
Yoshi: if you can learn how to wallcheck, then everything else will folllow
Yoshi: its generally like this
Yoshi: if you are gondor
Yoshi: defend vs rohan
Yoshi: creep vs gondor
Yoshi: attack vs mor/isen
Yoshi: if isen pick land and place it by mill
Yoshi: if mordor wait to pick, and pick heal after u killed some orcs
Yoshi: if he eyes right away then pick land and land him at mill

Yoshi: you most send both soldiers + hobbit
Yoshi: to creep a warg
Yoshi: use hobbit to lure 1 warg out
Yoshi: and then fight with all solders + pippin
Yoshi: and u didnt creep vs me you send both soldiers to my farms haha xD

Light[IS]: first blade or armor ?
Yoshi: vs gondor i would go blades
Yoshi: vs rohan would also go blades
Yoshi: but sometiems they make horse archer
Yoshi: then i would get fast armour
Yoshi: you most train keeping mc
Yoshi: cuz you had very little farms all game

Yoshi: when you know its fol take 1 or 2 mills, then go through bottom if you are left side
Yoshi: and through top if you are right side
Yoshi: make 1 uruk when pit is done
Yoshi: instantly!
Yoshi: and send it through mid
Yoshi: if u see more than 1 peasant
Yoshi: example 2 pess or 1 pess + merry
Yoshi: then chant
Yoshi: if not just kill
Yoshi: make 5 uruk in total, untill pit is rank 2
Yoshi: then u spam pikes
Yoshi: you most also use uruks for creeping at some time
Yoshi: 2 uruks can kill a warg lair
Yoshi: and get money
Yoshi: but they willl also die to wargs
Yoshi: which is very good, cuz then they wont feed horses
Yoshi: 2 chanted uruks will kill lair+ wargs
Yoshi: 1 chanted pike will do same as 2 chanted uruks
Yoshi: etc
