Anyone else wonder what Yuri's Psicorp does to take control of an enemy base, like in Shipwrecked? In Think Different, it's hinted and easy to guess that They just mind controlled the Chinese commander and informed his men that the Psicorp would be fighting alongside them. This can't be the case in Shipwrecked, however. My idea was that some sort of localized mind control device is deployed inside the structures to the control those within and when they leave.

Nah it is just cnc logic. Engineer takes control over structures and you will get access to enemy equipment and troops.

Both in Think Different and in Shipwrecked Yuri sends you an Engineer to capture the CY. It has nothing to do with mind control imo.
