Hey guys I wonder if it's posibble to remove the gondorian flag from the object GondorCastleWall ( minas tirith wall) , I've made a map where I used those walls but I don't want to see these flags. I guess it's a subobject?

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advice.4hb6lk.jpg

It's the name of the subobject lol. =p

I was tired and I assumed you would know what it was and what to do with it.

To remove a subobject in game (Ridder Geel taught me how to do it and I got it to work on SEE-DC's Minas Morgul):

  • Find the .w3d of the object (search for information on where to find in the ini/objects folder)
  • gbcampwall_a
  • Open the .w3d file in the W3D Viewer program from the BfMEII SDK
  • Find the subobject in the Mesh list. The name of the subobject will come after the dot
  • GBCAMPWALL_A.GBCASTTOWR_U
  • Use this code in map.ini to hide the subobject
  •
    Object DaDesertWall01
    	AddModule ModuleTag_HideDaFlag01
    		Behavior = SubObjectsUpgrade ModuleTag_HideDaFlag01
    			TriggeredBy        = Upgrade_ObjectLevel1
    			HideSubObjects        = GBCASTTOWR_U
    		End
    		Behavior = GrantUpgradeCreate ModuleTag_GrantUpgradeToHideDaFlag01
    		    UpgradeToGrant = Upgrade_ObjectLevel1
    		End
    	End
    End

DaDesertWall01 is a unique name of your object in Worldbuilder (name each wall in Worldbuilder a different name)

HideDaFlag01 is a unique name for each time you hide the subobject for each object

GBCASTTOWR_U is the name of the subobject you want to hide

How do you hide the subobject for all the objects at once?

The object I placed is GondorCastleWall ( its multiple placed) so all i have to do is to hide the subobject on this object.

:D
