i have not downloaded or used gentool. I do not know what is meant by hooking. I have used different passwords from different apps just to make sure theres no confusion in passwords. I do not know where to look or what to do

Get GenTool. Stop using the C&C:Online launcher for Generals and Zero Hour after that (only for Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath and Red Alert 3 if you have them).
Use your C&C:Online password that you can see and change in your Revora forum profile settings, NOT the Revora forum password.

I'm guessing thats the CNC online one lol?. And even if I enter password wrong it tells me, its just not connecting when I hit connect.

Gentool just takes me to the C&C launcher, Im a little confused as to whats going on here. whats next? too many accounts just for 1 game. Thanks for helping tho

Erm... That shouldn't happen. Make sure that you uncheck everything on the Hook menu on the launcher. Then, if you like, you can uninstall the launcher.
Then, if you have Gentool installed, just launch the game from the normal game shortcut. Gentool does not have a shortcut. If you've installed it, it should just work when the game launches; easy.

Means you had the wrong IP selected in the game's options menu :-) Common mistake.
Gain access to CNC Online servers by using GenTool for Generals and Zero Hour.
