Is there anyone else on the forum that had played any of the Wargame series?
I think this franchise/game style would make a great platform to run a land based Star Wars RTS. The maps are large, unit types from infantry to large tanks and fighter-craft are preset, even ships in the newest version.
Unfortunately the game is basically not at all moddable so this is just a dream topic to past the time.
I think the Company of Heroes/Dawn of War style of game would work well for a non-"realistic" SW themed RTS to.
So how about it my fellow PR fans, what would your dream engine be for a new SW game?

There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no death, there is the Force.

The Wargame series would indeed be good for larger-scale land battles, though from what we generally see in the movies, to model combat in the GCW it would be better to use CoH. I guess my dream engine would be some mix of Wargame + 4X space strategy like Sins of a Solar Empire or similar.
