C&C: Online broke all C&C games D:

exe error kanes wrath origin

Best Answer Bibber, 23 September 2014 - 10:50 PM

Install C&C:Online again, remove the hooks (!) and uninstall it again.

This is a really annoying issue. I don't know why the team doesn't fix the uninstaller of the launcher to remove the hooks automatically. Go to the full post

Hey there,

I did read that how to report issue thread thingie...

Some time ago me and two other friends got CnC online. After trying to play online with it, it broke every single command and conquer game on the computers of us three. We never managed to find a solution to the problem and the only fix so far has been redoing the entire computer, 1 friend still has the problem so I made this thread to ask if anyone can help.

We have the ultimate collection, as we start origin and then start let's say kane's wrath, an error message comes up saying: F:\Games\Origin\Games\Command and Conquer 3 TW and KW\Command Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath\CNC3EP1.exe could not be found.

This sorta error comes up for every game. Running the origin repair thing, reinstalling the game, removing cnc online and nothing else has helped.

Thanks in advance for help

edit: -Did- check common problems and solutions. Altough this is somewhat confusing  "3. There should be a value named InstallPath. Make sure the value is set to the Install directory and NOT to the Generals base game sub-directory. For example, my install directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, but the InstallPath value was set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Command and Conquer Generals."

The value InstallPath does not exist, only  "Install Dir"  as in Install Directory. It says

F:\Games\Origin\Games\Command and Conquer 3 TW and KW\ in the value but we have no clue what it is supposed to say instead.

Did read that.

We all use different operating systems so that's completely irrelevant.

Can't supply the error log as I am not the one having the issue and the friend is currently not around. Also we do no longer have or use cnc online either.

The error happens on -every- command and conquer game as said.

Everything else is already provided in the opening thread.

Time constraints. We tackle each issue when we can.
