Rohan Faction Plan

 

HEROES

 

Théodred - 1600

Rank 1: Mount

Rank 3: Bonds of Blood

Grants +10% to attack damage, health, armor, movement speed, and health regeneration for Théoden, Éomer, and Éowyn.

Rank 5: Prince of the Riddermark

Nearby infantry gain +150% attack damage.

Rank 7: Luck of Battle

Théodred temporarily avoids all ranged damage.

Rank 9: Determination

Théodred regains 75% of his maximum health.

 

Haldir - 1200

Rank 1: Quick Draw

Haldir's attack speed is temporarily increased by 50%.

Rank 3: Marchwarden of the Golden Wood

Nearby Galadhrim gain +25% attack and +15% attack speed.

Rank 5: Vigilance

Reveals a small portion of the map.

Rank 8: Elven Skill

Grants experience to non-Elven archers within a radius.

 

Éomer – 2500

Éomer’s stats are to be made only slightly below Aragorn’s.
Rank 1: Chief Marshal of the Mark
Nearby cavalry gains +50% damage and -25% trample deceleration.

Passive. Radagast continously heals and strengthens nearby friendly heroes and units.

Summons Gwaihir, Lord of the Eagles.

Standard anti-cavalry infantry. Same stats as Gondor soldiers, but with lower armor. 

May receive heavy armor, forged blades, and banner carrier upgrades.

Rank 1: Porcupine Formation

Standard anti-cavalry formation.

Rank 2: Recruit Edoras Kingsguard (800)

Powerful infantry, has no need for upgrades as armor and damage is already on par with upgraded units.

Has a 25% chance of knocking back enemies. 

May receive banner carrier upgrade.

Rank 1: To the King! (passive)

Edoras Kingsguard gain +10% damage and armor when near King Théoden.

 

Entmoot (1400, no longer comes with a free Ent summon)

Rank 1: Recruit Ent 

Rank 1: Recruit Treebeard - 2000 (starts at rank 3)

        Rank 1: Fangorn 

        Nearby Ents gain +10% damage, armor, and health.

        Rank 3: Last March of the Ents

        When activated, nearby Ents become enraged.

 

Rohan Guard Tower (800)

Like Gondor, Rohan can now build a Guard Tower on its regular build plots (see Deezire's Extended Edition).

He'll make an appearance in the campaign; either the one in the upcoming release or the one after (which will be extensively reworked).

i suggest to remove haldir and put him on lorien faaction and in his place should be Erkenbrand remember from the book he was a very important character

There will not be a Lorien faction. We originally had Elfhelm instead of Haldir, but because of the changes to Eomer, Eowyn, and Theoden, having another standard Rohan Captain-style hero would be redundant and serve no purpose. So we elected to just go ahead and have Haldir available to provide a hero role to the Galadhrim which are available after a spellbook unlock.

i think haldir should be a summon spell because he came to the helms deep as help from lorien rohan had so many captains and i think  Erkenbrand should be ok as a hero just a suggestion

Well the Galadhrim are no longer a summon, so where would Haldir fit in as a summon?

There's no Lorien faction planned. Erkenbrand will probably be in our campaign release.

 

i think haldir should be a summon spell because he came to the helms deep as help from lorien rohan had so many captains and i think  Erkenbrand should be ok as a hero just a suggestion

Rohan did have a lot of captains, but they would be pretty interchangeable in terms of functionality. Haldir's a breath of fresh air.

isn't 4000 a bit much for radagast in comparison to the other ultimate heroes after all you still need to unlock the final spellbook power and will eowyns disguise make her appear as a peasant and be unmounted when near peasants and then mounted and appear as a rohirrim when near cavalry.

Hi guys. I have a question but it is not releated with mod. In SAF, entmoot no longer comes with a free Ent summon. How do you do that? I need to do this so much. Can you explain it briefly? I can use worldbuilder, editing teams, making scripts, editing .bse files, and I know how to use final.big. So, I can understand it, if you just tell me briefly. Btw, I am looking forward to your mod. It is awesome :)

Well I haven't looked at the code in a while, but if I recall I couldn't find how to disable the summon. So the solution is to clone the entmoot by making a new building using the same model and animation, condition states.. Ect, then editing the base file to use this new building instead of the default entmoot. This bypasses the summon and allows us to do what we want with it instead.

Thank you for answer mate. But I dont know how to mak a new building using the same model and animation. Do you mean that I delete ents on entmooot, then copy it somewhere in rohan_entmoot.bse file, then delete the old entmot. Rihgt?

No I mean in the code. Create a new building for the game and "clone" the entmoot by using the same model and animations. Then in world builder use this "new" building instead of the default one.
