I have read the how-to thread.
I am using the normal version of Red Alert 3, downloaded through Steam.
I am getting an error that says "cannot connect to the backend server" when I try to log-in, however I have followed every single step I could find to an exact T, and still get the same error message. I've been searching the main forum topics for a solution, but the only one I can find is that it's an issue on your end, but my brother has performed the same steps and is able to connect to the server just fine.
My operating system is Windows 7 Professional, and the following is my error log file:
----- C&C:Online Launcher Start -----
