Good evening i downloaded mental omega and i have some debug reports:Initialized Ares version: 13.257.914

Do you have a sound card or an appropriate sound output? It appears the game crashes due to an error while setting up the sound buffer (an except.txt would be needed for further details).

Dont have any problems with ra2 or yr,so i dont think this is the problem ?

 

Btw it did told me i didnt have the file binkw32.dll file so i copyed that from my ra2 directory into mental directory

So you didn't installed MO to the RA2 directory eh? How about you would read the FAQ first then? Especially the "MO3.0 is not standalone." part.

Well, it should't need to be in THE RA2 folder but it does need RA2/YR copied into MO's folder at the very least.

Do you have the game installed on the same folder?Is it the full game or the multiplayer only versions?
