Hey,

 

I got for 3 days connections issue,

 

My configuration:

- Windows vista (32 bits)

- First Decade (no origin or steam)

- Patch 1.04

- GenTool v 7.0

- Firewall off

- Ingame Option: Firewall Port: 16000

- cnc online shortcut setting: run as administrator?

 

I have a c&c shortcut but I dont have to compability and run as admin option

My Problem:

- when all players accepted the game, the loading screen starts

- if i have to download a new map, nothing happens

- if i play an official map my progress bar fills up very fast but the others not at all

- than nothing happens for ca. 1 min, after 1 min I am ingame but nothing else is possible

- sometimes the loading screen doenst start at all, then i get connection error

 

Any ideas? I checked the pinned threats, but actually tryed them all concerning "connection". Maybe you know one of them I should double check according to my problem.

No it didnt fix it.

1) Don't confuse us with CnCNet, please.
2) Don't use the launcher for Generals and Zero Hour. It says so in the common issues thread.

When I launch game:

It's supposed to be like that. I have the TFD version of Generals and Zero Hour with the 1.03 rev4 cracked binary and I can connect to people just fine.

The ZH shortcut. Make sure your game is UN-hooked in the launcher before doing so.

Not working, I checked if it was unhooked, it is, I launched shortcut of ZH but I am the only 1 that loads..

 

Edit, connected to c&c 3 online and was able to play?

didnt change my antivirus since it used to work.

deinstalling AVG didnt make any difference

 

Restart windows after uninstall. If in doubt, reinstall Windows and then just install ZH and nothing else. If Vista/7 do not work, install Windows XP. Game was made for Windows XP.
