I would like to know as i personaly think that overcharge on a tesla coil is a waste of time

Depends on situation. If you have tesla units in your base around the Tesla Coils you can just simply buff them all. There was no intention to give the players an opportunity to use it explicitly on Tesla Coils, it was done so that it affects all tesla weapons on the battlefield.

 

Besides, in the next release Overcharge will have a much larger radius.
