Looks like anyone can finally patch C&C Generals to its full extent due to a huge amount of bugs and balance issues, and maybe open the door to C&C Generals 2?

EA is so strapped on debt now they are being bought by Silver Lake and Saudi Arabia's PIF into a private company. It didn't go well with the games bought from Embracer earlier. Pretty soon, it's RIP EA.
