(Dunno how you can listen to that stuff, Sari...Evanescence, Nightwish, Within Temptation, YES! But not Cradle of Filth...too much guitar and screaming, too much noise, not enough music IMO)

(but that's exactly why I love CoF! A lot of black metal etc. is just screaming and loud noises, hence why I usually prefer symphonic ... but with CoF, they have really impressive orchestral backing. Beautiful music. And of course, Dani has the most incredible voice ever. )

System of a Down - "Spiders"

Edit: #2: Then again, I just dled a few...they'd probably be a damn sight better if they kept it to instrumentals, and that woman shut the hell up. That's the sort of voice a spider might make after I stepped on it X_X (if spiders had voices)

(whoo, yay for System! Hehe.)
@Comrade Jerkov: Ack, now I'm confused! Is your third point about CoF? And if so, is the lady you're talking about Sarah Jezebel Deva (who does the female vocals on some tracks, such as Nymphetamine ... everyone seems to know that song)?
As for the orchestral songs, all of CoF's stuff is like that. Not throughout (i.e. Nightwish) but you get a lot of solos (or whatever you'd call it) and instrumental pieces). Hehehe.
And now I'm listening to Cradle of Filth - "Amor E Morte".

Peh. Yeh I'm deeply hurt by that ... doubt my cries of "PINK FLOYD ARE REFORMING FOR LIVE8!!" and then dissing my beautiful Cradle of Filth. *sniff sniff*
I'm traumatised forever now.
