"only an attacker" is the only thing that is possible with spawned aircraft.

SP missions open up a range of possibilities for units, but simply because of the shear number of units it's impossible to include all units. Also where does it stop, do we add the Buffalo fighter, or the A5 (predecessor from A6 Zero) or the I-15/16?

We do plan a gamemode in which both SP and MP units are available and a "Timeline-gamemode" e.g 1939-1941, 1942-1943, 1944-1946 is proposed. To implement the latter however still requires load of extra units which all need to be coded as well <3

oh really? ok i understand. i shall say thank you on your efforts in all these "Timeline-gamemode". :)

it is the 60th V-J Day today. and we have lots of celebration here, in China.
Almost same celebration as in Time Square.
i understand that it will be hard to make China a new contry in DDAY, as it was an army of peseants, beared horrible casualties but still fight until the last minute. it will be hard to balance in a PC game.
But i wish there could be some mission in China sub-thearter, as AVG Flying Tigers(i like them very much), rescuing Doolittle's shoot down pilots.
And if u want some guerilla mission, China sub-thearter will be a good stage.
Just a suggestion

China may, i repeat MAY, be used in a SP mission. However China (Nationalist China that is, i won't even bother with Communist China during WW2) had little to no domestic material. Therefor it will not become a MP side.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

OK that's enough in a game. i also can't make Nationalist(all heavy equipments from US) a side, and no metion the Communist(totally light infantry). it would be boring to be a MP side.

but i suggest to considerate a mission for AVG, as they do almost every thing successfully: defensive interception, air superioty, recon, close air support, long range bombing...and Himalaya airline. it would be a intersting air force mission :)

btw, how will u show Zeke's agility? by an high ROT and Acceleration? how do u keep it vulnerble but still powerful at least for a time?

are you planning to release everything in 1 version or will there be a 0.90 or whatever if so you may want to wait to add these things but if you are planning to release it in one version take all the time you need.

Yep they are working, I had a run-in with an AI Me-262 not so long ago... the dam thing took out a bunch of P47’s then chased one it missed all the way back to my base where my 90mm M2's took care of it.

Nice :)

As for FOW...may I suggest using a warped cloak logic? (Ie, make every unit cloak soundlessly and give all units a sensor range?) This is certainly more fun IMO than regrowing shroud, as you will still know where anything stationary on the map is, but you just won't see any units that have been moved in or out until you're right on top of them. They dont' even have to decloak to fire :) Just when your unit is in range of seeing them ;) Makes scouting all the more useful :)

I have thought about using cloaking but it would lag like hell & with all the new anims & particles systems I’m using D-day would be unplayable on low spec PCs (like mine!)

so fighters work like regular planes that you can select and send out of your base or are they spawned by a building and just appear when enemy bombers come ?

Basically, they would work like Ra2 Rocketeers, except that they are built at the warfactory from the vehicle tab, and are voxels rather than SHPs. In game-terms, they are otherwise very very similar.
