Hi, my friend made a few cool models for our mod in progress and they look nice, but they have no skeleton, bones, animations or skins. we've both tried to make bones for it and still can't do it. are there any people out there willing to help us with this? i can send the 3 W3D files if needed. here are links to some screenshots...

lol, very nice models and ideas (goblin fanatic thrower especially lol :p )

I don't know how to model so I can't help you out there. Also, you might want to clarify what you need:

Can you make the bones but not export them? or do you not know how to make the bones themselves?

well i know how to make bones but i'm just rubbish at it and get confused and frustrated when binding and things like that! i think if i had a basic bone structure for the models and then _skl files, i or my friend would be able to make all the animations just fine. perhaps someone could make the bones for us if i send the W3D files? thanks

Well, placing bones is done when you have a precise idea of how to animate your model. You can't just ast someone to "put bones on a model".

The faster would be to add them yourself, if you really don't want to, explain clearly where you need them, or what you want to move and how in your animations.

on topic, thanks, but i think my friend is now able to make bones better but I'm not! *eyes the thread about animating without bones with interest*
