ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Which, clearly, we don't.
Oh, fuck it. I might just lock this after Blodo and I have posted. It's a waste of time trying to talk about this...
Seems to be the way it works. Leaders wait patiently for us all to KO ourselves BANGING OUR HEADS AGAINST THE BRICK WALL, and then carry on as ever.
That said, wasn't this thread to determine the PUBLIC OPINION!? The only people who'll have voted yes to all:
D
Banshee
MM
Blaat
Hostile
possibly Immo
possibly Fen.
Of these, only one can specifically be called 'public' (Fen). No others can. Neither, really, can I. But I had to try and balance the vote.
This thread was purposeless from the start due to nobody even paying a blind bit of notice bar the usual resounding NO.

Yes same here I agree to that to we do have to many registered members that they register and never some up again like what is the point. There are many registered members that are as much as problematic or more problematic than the majority of the guests. Guest posting allows a higher activity in the forums and makes the community grow faster. The guest knows that if he doesn't register, his 'ID' can be hijacked by anyone. So, the natural tendency is that guests register.

Granted, there are a number of registered members I'd like to give a darn good kicking, too, but that's a separate issue.

Anything n00bish/spammy/trolly posted by either guest or member can be instantly and unequivocally locked and/or deleted without dispute from you, MM or Tom.
If agreed, then I can be sure of being able to do stuff without being instantly tossed to the rabid wolves...

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Besides. Check my rank. Doesn't that imply I should have some authority to make the odd decision regarding moderating myself? Or must I be a subservient robot?

As a matter of fact, I've been moderating YOU more than anyone else. Today ALONE I've deleted at least 5 spam posts by you. Please stop sticking your nose in where it isn't of any productive value.

I voted 'Guest posting on in some forums.' We (hostees, staff, admins) should have the ability to disable guest posting for a forum (or at least ask for it and get it done!) if guests are proving to be a problem.

He's basically posting here, presumably, on the basis of getting his postcount up...I am trying to be patient with him, but he's trying my patience atm. I don't mind a bit of social posting, but with him, it's every thread he sees he posts in...and what he posts is, when relevant, usually just an agreement or something that doesn't really contribute to the thread, the forum, or anything else.
Someone link to the vid on Ebaumsworld. I can't access that site from college.

I know you're just asking questions, but please don't invade a discussion that you really have no valid input in...if you have a suggestion for Rev, there's no need to post it in this thread. Where there is indeed a comms problem, the problem doesn't reach ground-level. It's between Staff and Admins where the problem really exists. That's the only reason I deleted your posts here. Is your input wasn't needed or useful (since the problem isn't yours), and just repeated what had been said before, with no real contribution.
See my point now?
